Lord Juco & The Standouts - Break A Leg (Vinyl)

Toronto’s own Lord Juco has reconnected with Fort Worth Texas’ production duo The Standouts for a new 10 song collaboration. Juco wrote and recorded this project during a six month recovery period from a broken tibia/fibula. The album is a reflection of the mindset of someone who is not used to being still, who is now forced to sit down and take a long look at themselves. Break A Leg is also a play on 'Good Luck' as this situation made him realize how lucky he really is to have good people in his corner. It’s an introspective and personal album which is why there are no features. It’s been five years since they first teamed up on the fan favourite White Walls album but trust me they haven’t missed a step. It’s more of the laid back fly shit over old soul and doo wop beats that you can ride to.
